Jestem pod wrażeniem jak potrafią się skompresować w takim małym gniazdku. Dziś nawet udało mi się zobaczyć jak mama i tata przynoszą małym robaczki. Chyba dobrze im jest żyć w Danii - jak pada, tak jak dziś, to łatwiej o robale..

/I am really impressed with their ability to compress in such a small nest. Today, I even saw mom and dad bringing worms to them. Well, I guess it is very good for them to live in Denmark - when it rains, like today, it is easier to find worms...

Już parę dni temu usłyszałam piski wydobywające się spod ptasiej mamy. Potem z zaskoczenia udało mi się zobaczyć co pod nią się chowa. Ale po tym twardo pilnowała maluchów i nijak nie dało się zrobić im zdjęcia. Dziś się poszcześciło :)

/I have already heard chirrup comming from under mama-bird a few days ago. Then, by accident I saw what was hiding underneath. But afterthat the well-guarded toddlers were hard to spotted and it was impossible to make any pictures of them. Until today :)

Jeśli Singapur nazywają Miastem Lwa to Malezja można by nazwać Państwem Kota :-) Można je znaleźć wszędzie i o każdej porze dnia i nocy. Najwięcej ich oczywiście tam gdzie dużo ludzi i jedzenie, czyli wszelkiego rodzaju knajpki, dworce autobusowe, howker centers/stalls, przystanki promowe...

na spadnie z islanda / There and Back Again on the Icelandic horse

I nadszedł ten dzień... Zaliczyłam pierwszy upadek z konia. Na szczęście daleko do ziemi nie było, bo to kuc islandzki, ale mimo wszystko pupa obita. Przy okazji zaczęłam doceniać znaczenie dopasowania siodła do konia i dostrzegać różnice pomiędzy różnymi siodłami... Dlaczego? A bo właśnie siodło zrzuciło mnie z konia a nie sam koń :) Konik miał siodło pożyczone od innego. W czasie jazdy zaczęło zmieniać pozycję na boczną... Raz udało nam się zawczasu to poprawić. Przy kolejnej probie było już szybsze od mojego refleksu. Wcześniej miałam przyjemność jeździć na koniu, który posiadał swoje własne prywatne bardzo dobrze dopasowane siodło - no...i jest różnica. 

/And the day has finally come... I have fallen from a horse for the first time in my life. Fortunately, there wasn't so far to the ground as it was an Icelandic horse. However, my buttocks hurts. Thanks to that, I started to notice the importance of well-adjusted saddle and notice the difference between different saddles... Why? Because the saddle has thrown me off the horse, not the horse itself :) The horse that I was riding on has a saddle borrowed from other fellow and during the riding the saddle moved counterclockwise... We managed to adjust it once but the second time it was faster than my reflexes. Previously, I had an opportunity to ride a horse that has its own private well-adjusted saddle and... yes, there is a difference.
